Woolyeyed Fiber is Sheep Inspired fiber products processed, spun or created in my home shop.
I process wool and mohair at home in preparation for selling, dyeing and spinning. The process is facinating and I enjoy working with the fiber.
Mohair has become one of my favorite fibers because it can create so much texture in the yarn when spinning. I often combine it with a wool fiber to add to the variation of the yarn and call it my "Mutant Mohair."
Texure is a theme for me working in the fiber arts. That is why I enjoy spinning the art yarns and the dyeing process. Those two elements create a physical and visual depth and texture in the yarns that make them so much more interesting.
Take a look at the Yarn and Fiber pages to view some of the goodies I make.
